Swatch: OPI Shatter Swatches In Honor Of OPI Shatter Day

Just in time to end OPI Shatter Day. I read about it on Facebook, and today OPI is celebrating OPI Shatter Day. I had two bottles of shatters just waiting to be tried, and what better day to try it out but on Shatter Day! The two colors of Shatter that I have for you are Turquoise and Navy. I also have two different swatches for you as well. The first is Pure Ice Excuse Me; it is a yellow pearly frost. The second is Sally Hansen Insta-dri Blue-Away; a pastel blue.

Shown with two coats. Pretty straight formula for a pearly frost. I don't usually like these kinds of colors, but my mom got it thinking she'd like it. Turns out the color doesn't suit her, so I took it instead haha. Reminds me of a China Glaze Ahoy! color. I believe it's called Lighthouse? or something like that. Feel free to correct me.

This is also two coats. I try not to get fast dry polishes because I feel like they get sticky/goopy pretty fast. I bought this because of the perfect pastel blue, but now that it's warmer, I'm seeing more pastels...haha.

Reminds me of royal/lacquer/enamel like on jewelry or faberge. This is the Navy Shatter over Pure Ice Excuse Me.

From the Blue Shatter Collection, Turquoise has got to be the one I anticipated the most. The formula is better than a regular Shatter, and more put together than the Silver Shatter. You can see the shimmery glean, but it doesn't look as confusing and puzzled as the Silver Shatter. So hooray for Turquoise Shatter, if the Silver one resulted like this, I would like it much better.

That's all for today. Don't worry, I know I still have to choose a winner for the giveaway. I haven't forgotten about it!! Stay tuned.

Thanks for looking, as always <3
